Building on Amaspace from your own code
Plugins cover Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Etsy. For everything else there's an embed, an API and webhooks, now documented in one developer portal.
Most stores connect Amaspace with a plugin and never write a line of code. That's on purpose. But some teams run custom storefronts, their own quoting systems or a CRM that needs the build the moment it's made. For them, the plugin isn't the point. The API is.
So we published the docs.
The developer portal
developers.amaspace.co has the guides, the API reference and playgrounds where you can try calls before writing any code.
Three ways in
- Embed: for a custom site, the configurator goes in with one snippet. It's the fastest way to put a product on a page you control.
- API and SDK: for teams that want the configurator to work with the rest of their stack.
- Webhooks: when a buyer finishes a build, the configuration can go straight to your CRM or order system, with every option they chose.
On WooCommerce there's also a shortcode, so a configurator can sit on any page, not only the product page.
Start with the webhook
If you're deciding where to begin, begin with getting the build into the system where you actually process orders. A webhook does that without anyone exporting or retyping a configuration, and everything else can come later.
Where it stops
The API is for working with Amaspace products and configurations. Building and editing the 3D scene itself still happens in our editor. And which plan includes API access and how many integrations you can run depends on the plan; the pricing page has the details.
