Try it on before it ships
Caps, glasses, watches and rings, on the shopper's own face and hands, in the browser. What virtual try-on does well, and what it doesn't do yet.

A cap looks different on a head than on a white background. So do sunglasses, a watch strap or a ring. For accessories, the question isn't only "what does it look like" but "what does it look like on me".
Virtual try-on answers that with the shopper's phone camera.
What it covers
Our try-on works for caps, eyewear, watches and rings. Face tracking places caps and glasses; hand tracking places watches and rings. The shopper turns their head or their wrist and the product follows.
It runs in the browser on iOS and Android. No app to install, the shopper allows the camera and they're in.
Try on the build, not the default
Try-on is part of the configurator, not a separate feature. A shopper picks the lens colour, then tries on those glasses. They change the strap and see the new strap on their wrist.
For printed and engraved products, they can preview the print on a cap or the engraving on a ring before ordering. Text and graphics show up on the model in real time.
Where it stops
Try-on needs the camera on. Some shoppers won't allow it, and the 3D view stays on the page for them.
It shows look and proportion, not exact fit. We don't publish sizing accuracy figures, so we don't use try-on as a size guide. And it doesn't cover clothing: garments that drape and fold are a different problem from a ring on a finger.
Which plans include it
Try-on preview is on the Advanced plan and full try-on on Ultimate. All plans include 3D and AR.
Next step
If you sell caps, eyewear, watches or jewellery, send us a product. We'll set it up for try-on so you can test it on your own face first. More in Fashion and try-on.
